If seeking a Manager: You will want to consider whether you want to rent your unit as a seasonal (90 days usually), weekly (vacation rental) or as an annual lease. You also will need to decide whether to furnish it, and if you want to furnish the utilities or not. Also, do you allow pets (yes, no or with limits). Remember, if you live in a condo you must check to see if the association allows pets.
There are many things to consider, but once everything is discussed and decided upon, we do the work, so you don’t have to.
If interested in selling:
Here at AAA, we work as a team. So, although one person is your listing agent and is the one you want to talk to, we all work as a team to market your property.
You want to decide whether to hold onto your investment as an income producing property before you actually sell. Maybe you will want to offer a lease option. You may want to to sell right away. Either way, we are here to consult with in making that decision.
You will want to prepare your home for showing to potential buyers. If you are occupying the residence while it is listed, put away things that are not necessary to be out. Folks want to envision themselves and their things in the home. It is easier if less of your things are out in the open.
Do not repaint the rooms bright colors or a color that matches your liking. Keep it plain. White is a clean color and also helps the room appear larger. If you want you could add a plant or two for color.
